BENNINGTON–It was a rough day at Bennington on Tuesday for the Canton-Galva High School baseball team as they returned home with two losses, 23-6 and 15-4.

Richard Peterson was the offensive weapon for the Eagles in game one by getting three hits and two runs batted in. Nick Pearson also had a pair of runs batted in, while Andrew Prieb took the loss on the mound.

Pearson got credit for all the runs in game two with four runs batted in, while Jonah Sargent was the offensive weapon with three hits. While Pearson knocked the runs in, he was also listed as losing pitcher.

Next up for the Eagles will be on Thursday when they play host to Little River in a rescheduled game from last Friday’s due to bad weather.
