MOUNDRIDGE—The Moundridge High School baseball team closed out their 2018 season on Friday with a pair of humbling losses at home in a doubleheader with Cheney as Cheney outscored the Wildcats 15-0 and 16-3.
In game one Cheney scored two runs in four of the five innings they went to the plate while pouring seven across in the third as they one-hit Moundridge for the 15-0 whitewash.
Chris Leddy had the lone hit for the Wildcats while Collin Kohl started the game on the mound and Wyatt Falco, Cross Lintecum, Noah Eichelberger and Jaeden Dalke each took turns in trying to stop the Cheney avalanche of offense.

Leddy had a double for his only hit of the game, while Bryant Olson was the only other Wildcat to get a hit in the game.
Wyatt Falco started the game before giving way to Corbin Unruh, Josh Knight and Cross Lintecum from the mound.
