ROSE HILL— Seven drives and seven touchdowns. All in the first half for the Bullpups as they picked up another road victory against Rose High School on Friday. The Bullpups now 7-0 for the first time since 1921 and now hold the No.1 seed in the 4A West division.

"I'm just proud of our kids, and it's pretty common for a high school kid to play down at their competition, and we still haven't seen that," head coch Jace Pavlovich said.

Bullpup offense put up 356 total yards on the Rockets. Senior quarterback Kyler Hoppes was looking for the pursuit of perfection as he threw 12-straight completed passes, but only missed one, which was a Hail Mary attempt with one second left. Hoppes finished the night 12-for-13 for 193 yards and four touchdowns. Two of those touchdown passes he connected with Chandler Wiard on the first two drives in the first quarter. The next two he targeted his other reliable weapons Talyn Huff and Gabe Hoover.

"He's a coach's kid, or at least what I refer him to. He watches the game, and he studies the game," Pavlovich said about Hoppes.

Jace Kinnamon has a streak of his own as with another 100-yard performance. He rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns for the Bullpups. After Friday night, he now has rushed for over 1,000 yards for the second time in his career.

On defense, the Bullpups front four continues to demolish the offensive line every week and putting their opponents in the negative categorties. Rose Hill only recorded only 0 yards in the first half. The running game was nonexistent as the Rockets rushed for -142. Khalil Lisbon went on a rampage as he produced three tackles-for-loss and three forced fumbles. One resulted into a fumble recovery for a touchdown in the end zone by Cody Stufflebean. Both Zach Brewer and Jakob Feil each played shutdown corners and each caught an interception. The Bullpups produced four turnovers throughout the night. Stufflebean continued to make his presence in the second quarter when he put up two back-to-back sacks against the Rockets.

Despite the running clock in the second half, the Rockets continued to show fight against the Bullpups' backups. With less than four minutes left in the fourth quarter, Rose Hill was finally on the board to avoid a shutout in their homefield. The Bullpup starters have not played all four quarters since their first game against Salina South. Coach Pavlovich wants to put in more plays for his starters, but don't want to risk any key injuries along the way.

"We were thinking about putting bringing in our ones back out in the second half, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if someone get's hurt," Pavlovich said. We got something special going on here. We just got work them a little harder at practice and get a lot done there."

The Bullpups remain undefeated at 7-0 with one more game left before the start of the postseason. Next Friday, they will be heading to Towanda as they will take on Circle High School at 7 p.m.
