The white-hot Central Christian College men’s soccer team made it eight wins in a row Saturday, racing to a 6-0 rout of Grace University.
Ivory Washington, Charlie Schlott and Gunnar Kelly each scored two goals. Jeff Szolis had two assists, while Grant Rardon, Zach Zellmer and Ernesto Cruz all had one.
“It is always refreshing to compete against a program and institution that holds to the same values as Central and our program,” CCC coach Cole Ouren said. “Grace has always represented themselves in a Godly fashion with integrity. It was a good opportunity to tweak some needed changes in preparation for Friday and Saturday’s games with Hillsdale and Jamestown. Additionally it was a chance to get some of our younger players some extended playing time.”
CCC, now 11-3-1, hosts Hillsdale Friday.
