The McPherson Animal Shelter presented its 2009 year-end report to the city commission Monday morning, showing an increase in revenue from 2008. From impounds, adoptions, cremations and tag sales, the shelter brought in $20,436, which is $1,500 more than 2008.
There were 97 people that were charged with animal related offenses, including dogs running at large, no tags or having a dangerous animal.
