McPherson downs Circle in dust bowl

MCPHERSON – Spring doesn’t always produce the nicest of weather conditions during the spring sports season, but mother nature has been less than cooperative thus far. Mother nature made yet another appearance Friday evening when she turned a typical windy day in Kansas to a dust bowl during McPherson’s 3-0 victory over Circle at McPherson Stadium.

The body keeps a tight rein on electrolytes in most situations

Bursting bubbles: Bullpups swim away from competition

EMPORIA, Kansas – For the second time in as many meets, the McPherson High School girls swim team took home first place as they competed in a meet in Emporia on Thursday afternoon. After winning first place in Hutchinson on Tuesday, the Bullpups came right back and tallied 490.5 team points to claim the meet, which was well over 100 points ahead of second place Garden City who put up 374 team points.

Razak razor sharp in McPherson sweep

SALINA, Kansas – It was an unusual day for high school baseball. McPherson was part of a three-way triangular held in Salina at Dean Evans Stadium Tuesday afternoon which the Bullpups swept, but the two games had everything from a 10th inning go-ahead triple, to a grand slam, to an unlikely hero in game one.
