MCPHERSON, Kansas – As sporting season’s drag on, it can get tiresome for players to find the energy to push through the season. The McPherson High School girls soccer team, however, has had a plan in motion to help keep that from happening. That plan is hosting the annual Youth Girls Soccer Clinic and this year it will be held on Wednesday, May 4th.
OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – The delay lived up to the hype, as the McPherson Bullpup’s make-up baseball game against Carl Albert on Saturday, April 23rd ended in a 4-3 loss for the Bullpups after a late charge by McPherson came up just short to drop McPherson’s record to 8-2 on the season.

DEAR DR. ROACH: I am a 62-year-old female. After about two weeks (sometimes less) of taking water-soluble vitamin supplements, I experience severe abdominal discomfort or a burning sensation. It feels like I either have a UTI or a vaginal infection. I also experienced the same symptoms taking collagen. It doesn’t matter which form or brand of supplements I take. I have tried most. I have gone to my doctor and have had both infections ruled out multiple times. I finally figured out that it was being caused by the supplements. When I stop taking them, the discomfort subsides within a week. I have no trouble with fat-soluble vitamins. I have asked every doctor I have seen in the past 30 years about this, and none has heard of it. Their solution is to not take them. As I age I am concerned that I am not able to support my health with only my diet. Am I getting enough vitamins without supplements if I eat well? -- S.L.

There is one book, however, that has stuck out more than nearly any other book that has ever been written. This book, which is the play that McPherson High School put on during Thursday and Friday, is The Diary of Anne Frank.
MCPHERSON – The entire McPherson High School girls soccer season has been built on high expectations from the beginning of the season. Recently, however, their season has been built on perseverance and grit as McPherson completed a grueling stretch where they competed in three games in four days, coming out of the battles with a 1-1-1 record.
