After prostate cancer treatment, prognosis remains good

DEAR DR. ROACH: I am 68 and have prostate cancer. I had PSAs, an MRI and a biopsy. My Gleason score was a high 7. No genetic testing as I can recall. My urologist said I had “upper moderate” cancer and that I could remove my prostate or do radiation therapy. I underwent three months of radiation treatment from September to November 2020. I’ve done three PSA tests since the radiation. All have been very low and, per my doc, good.

SMOKY VALLEY MUSICAL THEATER EARNS JESTER AWARDS

LINDSBORG – This past week, the Smoky Valley USD 400 high school musical theater received notices that they have earned a listing for Jester Award nominations and Regional Honorees for this year. In a statement released by Eric Lundstrom, Smoky Valley Theater Director, it was explained that Jester Awards is a program through the Music Theater in Wichita in which high schools pay to have their musical productions adjudicated.

Kansas unemployment holds at 2.5% in March, inflation leaves a mark
