The Governor’s Drought Response Team examines conditions; and recommends updates to the Governor Effective June 27, Governor Laura Kelly has approved updated drought declarations for Kansas counties with Executive Order #22-06. Great Bend- Rockie Joe Jones, 75, passed away on June 20, 2022, at home in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born on July 17, 1946, at Pittsburg, Kansas to Earl and Noami (Neil) Jones. Rockie married Patricia Jarvis on January 05, 1971, in McPherson, Kansas. She survives.
