Inman snags sweep from Remington

INMAN, Kansas – With just two matches lost on the season and a No. 4 ranking in 2A, the Inman High School volleyball team kept things rolling Thursday night with a dominant sweep over Remington at home. The two Inman losses came against Sedgwick in a season- opening tournament and to Cheney during the Haven Coleman Classic. Despite the two losses, Inman has found themselves sitting at an 18-2 record following two two-set match victories over Remington Thursday evening.

Teutons Pound Sterling 40-0

STERLING – Now ranked number one in Class 1A, the Inman football team proved their worth on Friday on the road at Sterling where they pounded the Black Bears with a 40-0 win. Now 4-0 for the season, the Teutons return to the home field on Friday where they will host Hutchinson Trinity who also enters the game 4-0 after beating Ellinwood 24-0.

#1 Ranked Andale Rolls Smoky Valley 57-8

ANDALE – Smoky Valley went to Andale on Friday and found out quickly why they are ranked number one in Class 3A as the Vikings got beat 57-8. Now 2-2 for the season, the Vikings will look to bounce back with a win on Friday when they play host to Cheney who will come into the game 3-1 for the season after thumping Pratt 43-21 this past Friday.
