Burnin’ Down Main Chili Cookoff results

The Burnin’ Down Main event was a success, with a crowd of about 600 people, 100 pumpkin giveaways, face painting, inflatables, and cornhole. The first-place winner for chili was Flat Branch Home Loans, represented by Renee Williams and Katy Aichele. In second for best chili, was Rory Rierson, and in third place, 365 Sports Complex, represented by Stephen Gray. In first place for best soup was King’s Two, represented by Stacy Hubbard and Gary Reiman.

Principal Appreciation Month Spotlight

The month of October was recently dubbed Principal Appreciation Month for the education system in Kansas. Throughout the month, the McPherson Sentinel will be giving a spotlight to principals and other leaders from different towns throughout McPherson County.
