An exciting day and night for the McPherson Optimist Club

Thursday, the McPherson Optimist Club hosted the weekly Chamber Connection at the Community Building to give a sneak peek of the setup for the Halloween Carnival later that evening and to share about the Optimist Club and their fundraisers for the youth of McPherson County. The breakfast spread consisted of coffee and cinnamon rolls provided by Tammy’s Country Catering.

Principal Appreciation Month Spotlight

The month of October is Principal Appreciation Month for the education system in Kansas. Throughout the month, the McPherson Sentinel has given a spotlight to principals from different towns throughout McPherson County. McPHERSON COLLEGE IMPACT ESTIMATED TO BE $44.1 MILLION

Kansas Independent College Association today released the results of a study that estimates the impact of McPherson College on the statewide economy to be $44.1 million.
