All-league honors announced for more Bullpups
MCPHERSON – The fall sports season has officially come to a close for McPherson High School, as the football team counted as the Bullpups’ final team standing before their 33-16 loss to Wamego in the substate Friday night. However, all-league honors were dished out to McPherson’s football, girls golf and volleyball teams after successful seasons.

The American Legion Post 24 and Legion Riders are sponsoring this year’s 34th Annual McPherson County Toy Run on Nov. 26. This event will include a Chili Feed and Auction immediately following the parade.

Lafferty Directs Redskins to State Title Game
BURLINGAME – Little River’s Braxton Lafferty took control of the state playoff semifinal game on Friday in Burlingame and directed the Redskins to a dominating 48-0 shutout victory to advance to the 8-Man Division I state title game for the third season in a row.

The Transgender Day of Remembrance did not go unnoticed in McPherson, as McPherson’s Church of the Brethren helped honor the important day in the LGBTQIA+ community by hosting an event to remember those that have lost their lives in the transgender community.
Pups preview: High school to host winter sports sampler
MCPHERSON – Winter sports is upon the high school world and McPherson High School has not forgotten, as a winter sports preview of the 2022-2023 Bullpup winter sports teams will be held at the high school inside of the Roundhouse on Monday, November 28.
