Artist-in-Residence Brian Hinkle

This April 9th-16th, Wichita artist Brian Hinkle will be Artist-in-Residence at Red Barn Studio Museum. Hinkle shared that his experience during the residency is always influenced by the colorful and extraordinary studio environment created by Lester Raymer, as well as the changing weather. He plans to paint in response to those influences and draw inspiration from multiple sources. Although he usually paints in oils, Brian intends to paint in various media and draw and, he jokes, perhaps even play the mandolin during his residency.
