Chamber accepts nominations
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce honors the best of our community.The Chamber announced nominations for the Emerging Leader Award are being accepted by the Chamber until October 19 at noon.There will only be one recipient and the nominees for this award should meet the following standards:• inspire others by being an upcoming business and community leader.• dedicated to giving back to the community.• Exhibits excellence, creative thinking, and initiative in their line of work.• has worked in their current position for at least a year, either as a business owner or in another occupation.• currently hold a McPherson Chamber of Commerce membership.The award will be given by the Chamber on November 8 at the McPherson Community Building during McPherson Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting.The Community Builder Award, the Horizon Business Award, and the Entrepreneur Business Award are additional honors to be given at the Chamber’s annual conference.The Community Builder Award recognizes those who actively contribute to the improvement of their community.
