INMAN, Kansas – As the high school football season approaches its highly anticipated launch to the 2024 fall season, the Inman Teutons will be turning their attention to local youth for a day as they will be hosting a junior football camp on Saturday, August 24.Although Inman fell short of a playoff berth a season ago following a 3-6 season, the Teutons have been accustomed to having their name associated with success following trips to the class 1A state championship game in 2021 and 2022.In order to keep a high level of success that has been established by ninth-year head coach Lance Sawyer and his staff, Inman has invested in its local youth by putting on a camp for grades first grade through sixth grade for both boys and girls. The camp, which is being conducted at Inman Stadium on its newly constructed turf field in 2023, is taught be coach Sawyer, his staff and Teuton high school players.

CANTON, Kansas – Over the weekend, the Central Kansas Youth Rodeo Association (CKYRA) held their final event of the 2024 season and several McPherson County youth athletes found success in their age divisions and events.Twenty-four local rodeo athletes competed in the two-day event held at the McPherson County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11.
