Late Moundridge comeback falls two runs short

WICHITA, Kansas — The Remington Bronco baseball team got a scare to start the game and a scare to end the game, but came through to hold on to an 8-6 win over Heart of America League rival Moundridge Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Class 2-1A regionals at the West Side Athletic Field in Wichita. A Remington assistant coach was hit in the face with a baseball during warm ups and had to be attended to.

Local Students Awarded Prestigious Agriculture Scholarships
