Lindsborg Community Hospital is now offering sports physicals for student athletes at a convenient cash price of $35. These physicals are available by appointment in the clinic or on a walk-in basis at Urgent Care, giving families flexible options to fit their schedule.

McPherson families and music lovers are in for a treat as the McPherson Public Library brings an exciting musical experience to town with The Polka Dot Café, an interactive concert featuring Thad Beach.

In March, the David J. Nutt Fund, administered by the McPherson County Community Foundation, awarded a $9,295 grant to American Legion Post 140 to purchase 300 aluminum grave markers and flag holders for veterans buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Lindsborg.

Many people who work in McPherson County don’t live in McPherson County, according to a study paid for by most of its governments, and the director of the housing organization that coordinated the support says the county needs more homes to make its communities better. Chris Goodson, executive director of the nonprofit McPherson Housing Coalition, also thinks, like a capitalist, that towns need to keep growing or they will eventually wither.

Westlake Corporation today announced it recently notified 125 college-bound students of employees throughout the company that they are recipients of a Westlake Scholarship beginning the fall term of 2025. Two of the students are from Kansas.
