WINFIELD, Kansas – A third straight win was not set in stone with just seconds remaining before halftime, but the legs of one of the fastest athletes in Kansas helped the McPherson High School football team run away from Winfield as the Bullpups pulled out a 46-27 victory. Last week’s edition of Friday Night Lights marked the halfway point of the high school football regular season in Kansas, and with it came McPherson’s third road game in four outings.

WICHITA, Kansas – This past weekend concluded what could be considered the most important week of the season outside of the postseason for the McPherson High School girls tennis team, as the Lady Pups competed in the annual Doug Gayer Classic and Tournament of Champions events. The busy week for McPherson started in its own backyard on Tuesday, September 23 when the Lady Pups were set to host the Doug Gayer Classic.
