McPherson College traveled a long way to earn a volleyball split Saturday.

Mac played in the Bacone triangular, knocking off the host school and losing to Southwestern Assemblies.

Mac swept Bacone (25-14, 25-13, 25-16), but was swept by Southwestern Assemblies (24-26, 16-25, 25-27).

In the win, Natalie Boss and Kory Hiebert recorded 10 kills apiece, while Brooke Wedel came up with 17 digs.

Against Southwestern Assemblies, Boss had 13 kills, Brelynn Schloo had 31 assists and Wedel had 12 digs.

The Bulldogs are now 13-11 overall and take a 5-6 KCAC record into tonight’s home match against Saint Mary.

The action begins at 7 p.m. at the Sport Center.
