With political advertisements bombarding televisions, radios and websites, it’s hard to ignore the fact Americans will be hitting the polls Tuesday, Nov. 2. This Tuesday, Kansas voters will have the opportunity to elect a new governor, secretary of state, attorney general, treasurer and insurance commissioner. Voters will also elect a new U.S. Senator, U.S. Congressman and State Congressmen. Kansas ballots will also contain two questions asking voters to approve or reject proposed amendments to the state’s constitution. (More information about the proposed changes can be found on page 1 of today’s newspaper.) Today’s Sentinel contains candidate information for U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representative candidates. Thursday’s paper will include candidate profiles for all state-level candidates.
