Manhattan Christian College’s volleyball team defeated Central Christian College in straight sets here Tuesday.
MCC won 25-17, 25-12 and 25-17.
CCC’s Alayna Howell had nine kills, while Lauren Lauritzen had seven. Kendra Jackson and Danielle Golladay had 12 digs apiece.
“We came up just a little bit short on the scoreboard once again, but on the positive side we were right there every game,” CCC coach Mick Burrill said. “We are peeking over some of those mountains that we never thought we would see the top of and with maturity and experience, we will climb over those mountains and see from the top what it’s like up there. We played very solidly, they were just a little bit better.”
CCC, 4-24, is home again tonight against Haskell at 7 p.m.
