Flora Pearl (Pearlie) Warren Piper, 81, died Nov. 22, 2010, after a long struggle with Parkinson‘s disease.
After graduation she worked as a telephone operator. From 1969-1998, she owned and operated Home Mercantile & Hardware Co. as well as Piper’s Fine Foods with her husband, Charles.
Flora is survived by her husband, Charles, of the home, three sons; Charles Steven and his wife Mary of Marquette, Samuel Clay and his wife Debra of Salina, Mitchell Drew and his wife Robin of Avon, Conn., two granddaughters; one step-granddaughter; three grandsons; three sisters; Betty Warren Stevens of Newton, Hazel Warren Kaminska and Oma Warren Burge both of Medicine Lodge, and; one brother Tom Warren of Wagoner, Okla.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at Marquette United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Marquette City Cemetery.
