Officers investigated at 2:22 a.m. Sunday a noninjury hit-and-run accident in an alley in the 900 block of North Main. A 30-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence, first offense, driving while suspended, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without proof of insurance and, on charges from a separate case, domestic battery. He was later released from McPherson County Jail on a $1,742 bond.


At 2:43 p.m. Monday, an officer and a deputy arrested a 55-year-old Texas female for criminal damage to property to a vehicle in the 100 block of North Maple. She was later released from McPherson County Jail on a $2,500 bond.



Deputies, EMS personnel and firefighters investigated at 6:27 p.m. Monday an injury collision near the intersection of Mohawk Road on 21st Avenue. A vehicle driven by Shawn K. Kernal-Dosser of Oklahoma veered off the roadway and into a ditch, striking a culvert. Kernal-Dosser was transported to McPherson Hospital.



GALVA — Firefighters responded at 2:28 p.m. Monday to an out-of-control controlled burn near the intersection of 21st Avenue and U.S. Highway 56.
