Marion man, woman injured in rollover accident

Marion residents Lyle L. Ledford and Ginger M. Ledford were in an injury rollover accident at 8:28 a.m. Saturday, on U.S. Highway 56 and Limestone Road.

Lyle Ledford was the driver of the vehicle and Ginger Ledford was the passenger. Ledford reportedly miscalculated a turn, nearly ending up in a north ditch. When Ledford attempted to correct the vehicle, the vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the middle of  U.S. 56.

Both passengers were transported with injuries to McPherson Hospital by EMS personnel. The extent of those injuries is unknown at this time.

Kansas Highway Patrol worked the accident. Emergency responders included McPherson EMS personnel, McPherson firefighters, and deputies.

Mac woman hits pole, injures self

McPherson resident George Ann Cavanaugh reportedly drove her vehicle into a lane divider in the 1600 block of East Kansas on Sunday.

Police report Cavanaugh went across the center median and hit the divider, suffering some injuries. The extent of those injuries is unknown at this time.  The cause behind the accident is unknown at this time.  McPherson officers responded to the scene of the accident.
