Six people die of e-coli and the government shuts down the spinach farm industry.  Thirty-two thousand people die every year of gun violence and the government turns a blind eye to the problem, or worse, heightens the problem by making it easier for everyone to obtain, carry and conceal guns.
Going to march at an anti-gun rally, the participants were stripped of the small American flags they were planning to wave, because the little 3-inch stick they were mounted on could be used as a weapon; meanwhile machine guns and automatic riflles wielded by any and all are allowed anywhere and everywhere—even in churches and schools.
Now in Kansas we are on the verge of allowing every single adult in this state, no matter how angry, how aggrieved, how unbalanced or how deranged, to obtain, carry and conceal any gun they want with absolutely NO restrictions, no training, no licensing, and no accountability.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?  And how blind do our legislators and governor have to be to allow this to happen?  I am told 80 % of the electorate is against this situation.
Well then, it is time for us to rise up and say enough is enough.  We need a voice of sanity in this state and apparently it will not come from anybody in our government.
