The Moundridge Kettle Queens FCE unit travelled to Maxwell Game Preserve on June 10. Once there they boarded the tram to go out to watch the bison herd.

On June 11 the Moundridge Kettle Queens FCE unit went to the Pine Village Wellness Center in Moundridge to play games with the residents. This is part of the program that teaches people about the need for nourishing our brains by eating healthy.

The South Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging (SCKAAA) has officially canceled its contract with Everfull, ending the provider’s services in 10 counties as of June 30.

Four county players represented at KABC all-star game

WICHITA, Kansas – The Minnesota Twins’ double-A affiliate in Wichita, Kansas – the Wichita Wind Surge – played home to the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches (KABC) senior all-star game last Wednesday as four McPherson County players competed in the contest. This year’s edition of the KABC all-star game was held at Equity Bank Park, which was previously known as Riverfront Stadium.

McPherson County shines bright in KBCA all-star game

SALINA, Kansas – One last chapter of high school basketball was added for three McPherson County players last Saturday, as McPherson’s Gabe Pyle, Moundridge’s Bear Moddelmog and Elyria Christian’s Ty Romero all competed in the KBCA all-star game at Kansas Wesleyan University. On Saturday, June 21, the top senior girls and boys basketball players in the state of Kansas gathered inside of Kansas Wesleyan University’s Mabee Arena to compete in the annual KBCA all-star game.
