The regular season has officially come to a close for the McPherson High School baseball team and with it comes the tying of a school record, a No. 1 overall seed in regionals and an eight-game winning streak.

WICHITA, Kansas — The Remington Bronco baseball team got a scare to start the game and a scare to end the game, but came through to hold on to an 8-6 win over Heart of America League rival Moundridge Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Class 2-1A regionals at the West Side Athletic Field in Wichita. A Remington assistant coach was hit in the face with a baseball during warm ups and had to be attended to.
