SALINA, Kansas – Two days removed from a competitive rematch of last year’s class 4A-1A state third-place game, the McPherson High School girls soccer team found a way to gut out a 1-0 overtime victory over Salina South in a breezy contest.
LAWRENCE, Kansas – The all-classes state meet at the end of the semester at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium is what comes to mind for many when thinking about the biggest track and field meet in Kansas, but the annual KU Relays would like a word as McPherson held its own amongst the heavyweights in the state at Rock Chalk Park this past weekend. Since 1923, the KU Relays, also known as the Kansas Relays, at Kansas University has played home to some of the most elite track and field talent throughout the country.
HAYSVILLE, Kansas – A rugged schedule to begin the season has created wear and tear on the McPherson High School girls swim team, but the Lady Pups most recent outing produced a second-place finish amongst a field of 10 teams at the Campus Invitational.
