Reagan Brake of McPherson, KS, has been named to the 2022 fall semester Dean's List at Ohio Wesleyan University. To earn Dean's List recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.

The McPherson County All Schools Day Committee was most excited to share at the Jan. 23 All Schools Day meeting that after three years going without one, there will officially be a carnival this year. All Schools Day falls on May 12 this year and there is sure to be a lot of excitement leading up to it.
It could be said that a team is special when they’re still talked about nearly a year after their season ended, but last year’s McPherson High School Lady Pups soccer team is accomplishing that feat as they earned one of several awards, including the esteemed Team Pinnacle Award.
Dear Amy: I ended a long and terrible marriage with an addict a couple of years ago. The marriage was over for a long time but because of debt and the pandemic, it took us a lot longer than I wanted for the marriage to finally be done.
In October, I went to the Casual Corner Tearoom Inside the Main Street Galleria in Lindsborg to meet the owner Irene Nielsen for a free tea tasting and to learn about the history of tea. I was fascinated by the vast knowledge Irene had and wrote a story about her published on Oct. 16.
