LITTLE RIVER – The topranked Little River girls as well as the Redskin boys both closed out the first month of their 2022-23 seasons with resounding wins over Herington on Tuesday as the Lady Redskins won by 32 and the boys followed with a 40-point blowout victory.
HOPE – Both the Elyria Christian boys and girls could not get a much better ending to their pre-Christmas schedule than securing a pair of road wins on Tuesday over Rural Vista as the Eagle boys won by 17, 59-42, and the Lady Eagles scored a 16-point, 38-22 victory.

ELYRIA – Determined to head to the upcoming Christmas break with wins, the Elyria girls and boys basketball teams both found victories at home on Friday over Solomon with the Lady Eagles winning big 47-18 while the short-handed Eagle boys held off a pesky Gorilla squad for a 34-29 victory.
Dear Amy: I live in a country that celebrates a tradition that I am, at best, uneasy with.
