Lafferty Carries Redskins to Regional Title

LITTLE RIVER – On Friday, Braxton Lafferty literally carried Little River to an 8-Man Division I state regional championship as the Redskins manhandled Madison with a 60-14 victory. Ranked number two, the Redskins are now 9-1 for the season as they prep for a road trip on Friday to Cottonwood Falls to battle Chase County in the playoffs quarterfinals.

Area Runners Find Success at State Meets

On Saturday, October 29 in places like Lawrence and Wamego, two area cross country teams as well as four individual runners representing their schools found some success at the 2022 Kansas State Cross Country Championships.

Hymn Sing-A-Thon fundraiser for Bethany College Choir

The Bethany College Choir will be hosting a Hymn Sing-A-Thon on Nov. 11, 2022, to raise funds for their choir tour to Europe in the spring of 2023. The choir will sing hymns from the Lutheran Book of Worship in the Pearson Chapel inside the Mabee Welcome Center on the Bethany College Campus.
