LINDSBORG – On Saturday, October 22 the Smoky Valley volleyball program hosted a Class 3A sub-state tournament and pulled off a first-place finish for the host Lady Vikings, giving them a third straight trip to the Class 3A state tournament.
MCPHERSON – Up until halftime of Friday night’s football playoff matchup between McPherson and Mulvane, it looked like history was doing its best to repeat itself. However, the Bullpups fought off the upset bid from the Wildcats and escaped with a 34-13 win at home.

Kansas Independent College Association today released the results of a study that estimates the impact of McPherson College on the statewide economy to be $44.1 million. McPherson College President Michael Schneider said, “Our faculty and staff are committed to our mission and the success of our students, it’s why we have been recognized as a ‘Great College to Work For’ for the last eight years.
Kansas Independent College Association released the results of a study that estimates the impact of Central Christian College of Kansas on the statewide economy to be $22.3 Million and 183 jobs. The study was conducted by Parker Philips, a nationally recognized consulting firm specializing in economic impact analysis.
