Little River Spikers Earn Canton/Galva Invitational Title

CANTON – Ranked number one in Class 1A Division I, the Little River volleyball program proved their worth on Saturday, October 1 when they traveled east on Highway 56 to Canton and dominated the Canton/ Galva Volleyball Invitational while earning the team title.

Carol Sue Teeter, 84, of Marquette, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 at her residence. Carol was born in Sullivan, Indiana on January 18, 1938, a daughter of Dorothy (Bennett) and Guy Godfrey.

Smoky Valley Runners Take 1st, 2nd at Ellsworth

ELLSWORTH – On Tuesday, the Smoky Valley cross country team went to Ellsworth and brought home a team championship for the Lady Vikings while the Viking boys took second. In the girls division, the Lady Vikings totaled 30 points from their top five runners to win the team championship by 23 points over second-place Minneapolis.
