Bullpup football falls to Junction City on the road

JUNCTION CITY, Kansas – In a highly anticipated 4A versus 6A football matchup, McPherson High school barked at Junction City in the first half, but the Blue Jays flew away from the Bullpups in the second half in a 30-15 win for Junction City.

History makers: Lady Pups golf hosts first tournament at Turkey Creek

MCPHERSON – Turkey Creek Golf Course’s parking lot held a few more cars than usual at 1:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t because of an overbooking for tee times. Instead, it was the cars of spectators and family to support the first of many girls golf tournaments hosted by the McPherson High School girls golf team.

Windom Elementary School Greenhouse continues to grow with sales

On Sept. 14 there was a Chrysanthemum delivery at the Windom Greenhouse in Windom, Kans., and the sale was put on by teachers and staff of Windom Elementary School. Grade schoolers helped unload the truck so that those who ordered the mums could pick them up later in the afternoon.

Cross country improves on times
