ELYRIA – The Elyria Christian volleyball team has made the top-ten of the Kansas Volleyball Associations (KVA) latest poll for Class 1A Division II schools as the Lady Eagles were ranked number eight with their 8-3 mark for the season.

Stroke Survivors Saturdays

YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR NEWS The Stroke Survivors social group meets almost every Saturday around 1 pm at Craft Coffee Parlor at 120 N Main Street in McPherson, Kans. The group is for stroke survivors and their family members to share their experiences with others who have gone through similar situations and to offer each other support on their journey to recovery.

Buller Leads Inman to Win over Sedgwick

INMAN – Josiah Buller entered the game in the middle of the first quarter Friday evening and wowed the home crowd in leading the Inman football team to a convincing 42-24 win over Sedgwick. When starting quarterback Tanner Heckel left the game injured midway through the first quarter, Buller came in a ended up completing seven of ten passes for 159 yards and three touchdowns, including two covering 60 and 42 yards to Harrison Brunk in the first and second quarters with the third score coming on a 12 yarder to Samuel Shober in the third.

Hecox leads Wildcats in first win of 2022

BENNINGTON – On the road last Friday, sophomore Henry Hecox led the Moundridge football team by throwing for three touchdowns to get their first win of the 2022 season 30-14 over Bennington. With the victory, the Wildcats are now 1-1 for the season as they look to get another win on Friday at home when they play host to Wichita Independent.

Little River Defense Hammers Rural Vista for 57-6 Win

LITTLE RIVER – After losing in week one the Little Rive football team took their frustrations out on visiting Rural Vista and scored a convincing 57-6 win at home last Friday. The Redskin defense was relentless in the victory as they held Rural Vista to a grand total of minus-ten yards in offense on 37 offensive plays in a game that was over at halftime by the point rule.
