ELRYIA, Kansas – Strength in numbers is generally a good way to live by, but the Elyria Christian School cross country team doesn’t want to be told the odds. The Eagles return three runners from last year’s squad (two on the boys side and one on the girls) and bring in three new runners on the girls side to tally six total runners for this season’s teams combined.
CANTON – Unbeknownst to most, 30 McPherson County Area kids spent part of their summer finding success on the rodeo circuit as members of the Central Kansas Youth Rodeo Association. The CKYRA held nine rodeos’ in Canton in the four months covering May, June, July and August, finishing up with the summer finals on Friday/ Saturday, August 13 and 14.
