MCPHERSON – For the first time since it was built in 1990, Turkey Creek Golf Course played host to a McPherson High School girls golf team camp Monday through Thursday to help kick-start the program’s first ever season.

Great Bend- John M. Helfrich, 68, passed away June 25, 2022, at his home in Great Bend. He was born on November 30, 1953, in Great Bend, to Gerald & Patricia (McMullen) Helfrich. He married Connie Deines in Great Bend and they later divorced.
