Lady Redskins Stumble At State, Lose To Burlingame

DODGE CITY – They may have beaten them in January, but on Thursday, second-half offensive struggles cost the Little River girls and they lost by six, 45-39, to Burlingame in their first-round battle at the Class 1A Division I state tournament.

2022 Softball Preview: Lady Wildcats get new coach

MOUNDRIDGE – In 2021 the Moundridge softball team came up one game short of reaching the state tournament, so 2022 will be looking to make that trip under the leadership of a new coach. Lynn Eichelberger has taken over as the head coach of the Lady Wildcat softball program after spending three seasons as the assistant and she is hopeful in bringing some more success to the Moundridge diamond.

Smoky Valley Seeks Continued Track Successes

LINDSBORG – For the spring of 2022, the Smoky Valley track team will be seeking to continue the successes of 2021 that included four gold medals for the Lady Redskins, a Class 3A Girls State Championship, and Viking head coach Jay Myers being named the 2021 Track/ Field Coach of the Year.
