ST. GEORGE – They did it again, the McPherson girls have played themselves into a trip to the Class 4A state tournament by going on the road Friday and defeating Rock Creek by five, 43-38.

MINNEAPOLIS – The Smoky Valley boys basketball team finished their play at sub-state just like their season, the finished 1-1 with a dominating 30-point, 61-31, win on Monday over Ellsworth before finishing their season on Thursday with a 15-point, 57-42, loss to Southeast of Saline.
BURRTON – On Thursday, the Little River boys scored an 11-point, 51-40 victory over Goessel in their second-round game of the Class 1A Division I sub-state in Burrton to put them within one game of a trip to the state tournament next week in Dodge City.
