Although summer break has yet to reach its halfway point, McPherson High School’s historic Roundhouse was occupied on Tuesday, June 13 by 10 different high schools for a camp to prep for the fall season.

McPHERSON— On Saturday, June 10, McPherson residents celebrated the fourth annual Pride Festival in a wave of color along the 100 block of East Marlin Street. With McPherson Police providing an escort, participants in McPherson’s Pride Festival marched down Marlin Street from Linnea Park to the McPherson Community Building.
MANHATTAN, Kansas -- The prestigious 2023 KABC senior all-state all-star game saw seven of McPherson County’s top baseball players take the field one last time to represent their schools last Wednesday, as Team Purple defeated Team Gray 8-4.
INMAN - The Country Cousins 4-H Club’s annual club member farm tour and meeting with pizza was held on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The farm tour started at Evan Sawyer’s house where he showed the club his bucket calf, KJ. Then the club went to Dane and Veda Ayers’ house where Dane showed the club his plants, quail, and chickens. Then at Stockton and Thane Foster’s house Thane showed everybody his calf, Disney, and Stockton showed everybody his dirt bike. Next at the Reiff ’s house AJ showed the club her pigs, Macy showed the club her steers, then Laney and Nora showed the group their goats. For the final stop on the tour, Addison Wedel showed the club her dog and her sheep.

With improving the lives of its residents in mind, The Cedars, located at 1021 Cedars Drive, has upgraded its assisted living community area. The need to create a gathering area for residents of The Cedars Community served as the driving force behind the renovation.
