Nathaniel “Than” Lee Fishback, 71, passed away on May 23, 2023 at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS, after a five year battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 11, 1951 in Skidmore, MO, the son of Lyle L.

Motorcycle awareness crucial to save lives

On May 24, Michael Heitkotter, 37, tragically lost his life when a semi failed to yield from a stop sign on a McPherson County road. In the wake of this accident, motorcycle awareness is at the forefront of many people’s minds.

Michael Lavon Heitkotter, 37, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He worked at Mid-Kansas Coop for six years. Michael was born on December 13, 1985, in McPherson, KS, the son of Brinda Lynn Hall and Elvin Lavon “Skeeter” Heitkotter.

DaVon Glen Knackstedt Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on May 20, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to parents Delmer and Glennys (Joan) Knackstedt (deceased) of Windom, Kansas on April 18, 1952.
