The Winding of the May Pole

A special tradition of the May Fete (aside from the May Fete royalty) is the Winding of the May Pole. This year the May Pole Winding will be done by the St. Joseph Catholic School 5th and 6th graders.

Library series educates women on health and wellness

Krysti Bergkamp, Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer with McPherson Center for Health started off the Women’s Health Series on May 1 with her lesson “Simply Healthy”. Every Monday this month, there will be discussions relating to Women’s Health and Wellness at the McPherson Public Library and each session begins at 5:30 p.m.

MHS completes final Signing Day

The fourth and final signing day at McPherson High School took place last Wednesday on May 3rd when seven more Bullpups signed their letter of intent to pursue both their athletic and academic careers at the next level following their final year at the high school.

Vikings inch towards breakthrough

Area roundup: County wraps up regular seasons

It was a great week for several area schools as the Smoky Valley boys tennis team qualified all six members for the Class 3-2-1A state meet, the Little River boys continued to roll along in baseball while Smoky Valley’s Breanne Peters continues to dominate the track/field events.
