FRANCES L. PAULS

Frances L. Pauls passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home at the age of 97, on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Harvest House, Pleasant View Home, in Inman, Kansas. Frances was born on January 6, 1926, to Isaac D. Dirks and Marie (Janzen) Dirks. She grew up south of Buhler, attended Willow Grove Grade School and graduated from Buhler High School. Frances trusted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Finamore Lake southeast of Buhler. On October 24, 1944, Frances was united in marriage to John R. Pauls of Inman. They had 4 children and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. Frances enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, and preparing wonderful meals. She loved flowers and would plant big flower gardens. They enjoyed traveling together, and spending time with family and

The Canton Dizzy Dames Family and Education Group met May 1 at the home of Adele Koehn in Galva. Roll call led into the lesson given by Kim Krase of Galva, “What is on your device?” Communication systems have evolved from smoke signals, carrier pigeons, ringing bells, flag signals, to cell phones including smartphones.
