McPherson pastors are examples of Angels Among Us

This is a special week for the McPherson Sentinel. For some time, we have been working to identify local residents who go above and beyond to serve the community. We refer to those people as Angel Among Us and in this edition is a special magazine to introduce those people to you. They were chosen by you, our readers, and represent people who give, who serve and who care about others.

Community Fridge Project open for donations

The MPNaz Church, McPherson Coalition for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity, and Henry Construction had a Chamber Ribbon Cutting for the Community Fridge Project on March 23. The project is located outside of the MPNaz Church at 1455 N Main St in McPherson.

Commissioners approve lighting plan

Kyler Crain, Smokey Valley High School student, approached McPherson County Commissioners at Monday’s meeting with a proposal to replace the existing lighting system on Välkommen Bridge in Lindsborg.

Country Cousin’s March Club Meeting

The March meeting of the Country Cousins 4-H club was held on March 5, 2023, at St. Peter’s Church in Inman. The meeting was called or order by club Co-President Kassie Regher. The meeting started with the 4-H pledge and the pledge of Allegiance, which was led by Owen Sawyer and Nora Reiff.
