SALINA, Kansas – A total of nine girl wrestlers represented McPherson County at the class 4A1A girls state wrestling tournament on Wednesday and Thursday, as three of those girls came away with a medal, which included a state championship.
There was a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new indoor golf simulating establishment, Bob’s Golf Club at 112 N Main Street in McPherson on Feb. 24.

MCPHERSON, KAN------ The McPherson County Community Foundation’s (MCCF) annual matching event enters its ninth year of helping build the endowments of local partnering non-profits. TOPEKA, Kansas – Following regionals at Topeka’s West Ridge Lanes on Tuesday, February 21, the McPherson High School bowling team finished in 12th place and will send Logan Jackson as the lone Bullpup state qualifier to Thursday’s class 5A-1A state bowling tournament at Wichita’s Northrock Lanes.
SALINA, Kansas – At the conclusion of 812 wrestling matches in a four-day span, McPherson County racked up six medalists as three of those six came from the McPherson and Smoky Valley boys’ wrestling teams following the class 4A boys state wrestling tournament on Friday and Saturday.
