The Moundridge High School Scholars Bowl had a great season, earning second place overall at the State Championships in Topeka on Feb. 11.

Reality U brings a bit of reality to sophomore and eighth-grade students through an hour-long simulation. Students’ information is entered into the Reality U software, including their current GPA, and they are given a personalized simulation for their future.

Richard Grabow is the writer, co-director, co-producer, and star of the indie feature film The Year of the Dog, which premieres on February 24 at VIP McPherson 4. For at least two weeks, the movie will have a restricted run in theaters around the nation.
Rick N. Anderson, 75, of McPherson, KS, passed away February 18, 2023, surrounded by family at McPherson Hospital. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Leaf officiating.
