Richard Grabow is the writer, co-director, co-producer, and star of the indie feature film The Year of the Dog, which premieres on February 24 at VIP McPherson 4. For at least two weeks, the movie will have a restricted run in theaters around the nation.

The Moundridge High School Scholars Bowl had a great season, earning second place overall at the State Championships in Topeka on Feb. 11.
Electric vehicle fires have been occurring nationwide and they have been locally more frequent as well. On Feb. 15, McPherson Fire Department crews responded to a vehicle fire at 3:39 pm in the 2000 block of Northview in McPherson.
