The Kansas Board of Accountancy has announced that 18 candidates successfully passed the computerized examination in the April/May/June 2016 exam window.

As of July 2016, 12,419 individuals have been issued CPA certificates, of which 3,954 hold active permits to practice.

Passage of the national examination is the first step to becoming a certified public accountant. To be eligible to receive a permit to practice, an experience requirement must first be met.
