The Kansas Public E-Court System began experiencing network issues on October 12 affecting user access and online services.The relatively new online portal for Kansas Court Systems is inaccessible as a result of a security issue.

Burnin’ Down Main heats up downtown

Entrants served up their prized recipes to hungry event-goers packing the Plaza on Saturday morning, October 7 for McPherson Main Street’s annual Burnin’ Down Main event.With the smell of soup and chili hanging in the air, kids enjoyed playing in the bounce houses, decorating pumpkins, or getting their faces painted, while the adults partook in sampling the entries and voting for their favorites.The Boy Scouts were there selling soda, water and meat sticks and helped with pumpkin decorating.

Lindsborg Museum Announces Access Program for Low-Income Families

Today Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum announced that it has joined Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.
